Our criminal law division is headed by

Victim of crime compensation deals with
people who have suffered physical and/or
emotional injury as well as financial
loss as a result of crime. If you have
been the victim of crime and have
suffered an injury and/or financial loss
as a result of another person, then you
should consider making a claim.
In Victoria, compensation for victims of
crime can be pursued via Compensation
from the Victims of Crime Assistance
Tribunal, as a civil action against the
offender, or compensation as part of a
sentencing order.
