A conundrum
for employers and their advisors: the new employer
sanctions legislation. Amendments to the Migration Act
1958 (Cth) recently came into operation. The amendments
are designed to make employers criminally liable for
hiring illegal workers in the country. This article
discusses the amendments and their implications for
employers.
