Murray Gerkens
Murray Gerkens is a Barrister &
Solicitor of the Supreme Courts of Victoria and New South
Wales and the High Court of Australia. He practises as
counsel in State and federal courts throughout the country
and has a long history in public administration and the law.
He was, amongst other things, a Magistrate, Chairman of the
Victorian Police Discipline Board and head of the Australian
Refugee Review Tribunal.

Murray is a registered migration agent and
lectures in immigration and refugee law at Victoria University.
Murray is also a Panel Chair of the Financial
Industry Complaints Service, a prolific legal author with
a number of published texts, director of various companies

(Alcohol & Drug Rehabilitation).
