Dominic Yau
Dominic Yau is a barrister and
solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of
Australia. Dominic has been, among other things, a decorated
returned soldier in the Australian Army and former manager
in the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and
Indigenous Affairs (DIMIA), having served overseas with the
Department in Hong Kong and Beijing.
Dominic holds the degrees of
Bachelor of Arts (Melbourne) and Bachelor of Laws (Latrobe),
and speaks Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), and
Vietnamese.
He also lectures in the
Victoria University Australian Immigration Law programme.
